In 2014 Katy created Oh Boy! The Quantum Leap Show, which returned to Edinburgh in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>She performs in sci-fi improv group Project2, and produces and performs in Geekeasy the comedy night for nerds.<\/p>\n<p>She also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their Ghostbusters themed musical \u201cWho Ya Gonna Call?\u201d which received rave reviews. She also made her first solo theatre show I Have an Idea for a Film at the Edinburgh Fringe.<\/p>\n<p>She is half of the two woman long form show Katy and Rach, and plays in the Destination podcast and live shows.<\/p>\n<p>She coaches long form teams and leads workshops in England, Europe and the States. She has also written for BBC Radio Comedy and is a regular on the improvised podcast Destination.<\/p>\n<p>Maria has performed at numerous international improv festivals including Estonia, The Netherlands, Philadelphia, Portugal &amp; Dublin.<\/p>\n<p>She has studied with Charna Halpern, the founder of iO Chicago and author of Truth in Comedy, who originally developed The Harold with Del Close.<\/p>\n<p>She has also studied with Keith Johnstone, New York\u2019s Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Second City in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>To top it all off Maria is a professional educator. Having spent over 10 years in learning, training &amp; informal education, she understands the fundamentals of passing on knowledge in interactive &amp; engaging ways.<\/p>\n<p>Maria believes it\u2019s paramount to put her students\u2019 needs first and always creates a friendly, relaxed environment where the goal in every class is to learn new things while having a bloody good time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andrew Gentilli<\/strong> performs with Music Box the improvised musical, one of Hoopla&#8217;s most popular shows.
