From Friday 26th \u2013 Saturday 27th April 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend will be a mix of headline acts and new groups from around the UK &amp; Ireland who are looking to perform to a big London audience plus some of \u00a0London&#8217;s top acts will also be performing! Including The Actor\u2019s Nightmare, Music Box and The Committee!<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are especially looking for Acts who represent the brilliant diversity in the UK &amp; Ireland!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But wait that&#8217;s not all! Hoopla will be offering performers of the festival Free Improv Workshops with Hoopla teachers on Saturday 27th April during the day. \u00a0\u00a0And we will be running a Networking event before Saturday night\u2019s show and performers will be allowed to watch all the shows for free.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The rundown for the weekend will look a little like this:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Friday 26th April: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shows from 8pm \u2013 11pm with two intervals.\u00a0 Brighton troupe <strong>The Maydays<\/strong>!! Have already been confirmed and will be performing their awesome show <strong>Happily Never After!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 27th April: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workshops during the day, venue &amp; times tbc.<\/li>\n<li>Networking event at The Miller before the shows start.<\/li>\n<li>Shows from 5 pm \u2013 11 pm with four to five intervals.<\/li>\n<li>And a BIG Improv party downstairs in The Miller from 11 pm \u2013 1 am!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hoopla won\u2019t be receiving any funding to run the festival, the costs we will incur will be subsidised by our courses. \u00a0We can offer to pay acts (outside of London) the following: \u00a0Headline groups doing 30-40mins \u00a3200 and groups doing 15mins sets \u00a350. \u00a0We hope this will cover a good chunk of their travel expenses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you love the sound of all of this and want to take part in Hoopla&#8217;s UK &amp; Ireland improv festival\u00a0<\/strong><strong>here is how to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send an email to Angela at <a href=\"mailto:Hooplashows@gmail.com\">Hooplashows@gmail.com\u00a0<\/a>with the following info:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Group Name:<\/li>\n<li>Description of your act including your format:<\/li>\n<li>Tell me a little bit about your group, including shows\/festival you have performed at and any fun facts:<\/li>\n<li>If you had to recommend another act to perform at this festival (<em>that isn\u2019t yours cheeky<\/em>) who would you choose and why?<\/li>\n<li>Social media or website links: (if you have any)<\/li>\n<li>And an Image of your team that can be used for promotion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline for applications has now been extended to 15th January 2019<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Why are we doing this you may wonder..? Because through the Hoopla Marathon and our students and teachers we have learnt\u00a0just how amazing our community is!
