Online course.<\/h4><\/div>[vc_column_text]Over this 5 week course you&#8217;ll be exploring a variety of different genres including Science Fiction, Western, Horror, Action Movies, 80s Buddy Cop Movies, Rom-Com, Silent Movie, H.G. She has also written for BBC Radio Comedy and is a regular on the improvised podcast Destination.<\/p>\n<p>Maria has performed at numerous international improv festivals including Estonia, The Netherlands, Philadelphia, Portugal &amp; Dublin.<\/p>\n<p>She has studied with Charna Halpern, the founder of iO Chicago and author of Truth in Comedy, who originally developed The Harold with Del Close.<\/p>\n<p>She has also studied with Keith Johnstone, New York\u2019s Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and Second City in Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>To top it all off Maria is a professional educator. In 2014 Katy created Oh Boy! The Quantum Leap Show and also performs in The Mayday&#8217;s Tim Burton inspired show Happily Never After.<\/p>\n<p>She performs and co-directs the sci-fi improv group Project2, including a recent successful run at The Rosemary Branch Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>She also performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with their Ghostbusters themed musical &#8220;Who Ya Gonna Call?&#8221; which received rave reviews. She also made her first solo theatre show I Have an Idea for a Film at the Edinburgh Fringe.<\/p>\n<p>She is half of the two woman long form show Katy and Rach, and plays in the Destination podcast and live shows.<\/p>\n<p>She coaches long form teams and leads workshops in England, Europe and the States.
