They to lean forward so the audience can\u2019t see their faces. They are asked to pull lots of stupid facial expressions and to hold one when the host says \u2018stop\u2019. The improvisers sit up, still holding the expression and each, in turn, to say whatever their character is thinking. They don\u2019t need to say why they look like this and they won\u2019t be able to hear any of the other character monologues.
