This is so we can keep improv fun while also keeping safety in our classes and shows. We will also be able to adjust month by month and bring in additional changes if needed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Please don&#8217;t come to class if you have symptoms<\/h2>\n<p>Please remember to not come to class if you have any of these symptoms:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>High temperature or fever.<\/li>\n<li>A new, continuous cough.<\/li>\n<li>A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.<\/li>\n<li>Body aches.<\/li>\n<li>Runny nose and sneezing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Please test regularly<\/h2>\n<p>Please test regularly if you can. We suggest testing on the day of the class.<\/p>\n<p>If you have symptoms or test positive please do not come in to classes or shows for the\u00a0recommended amount of time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Reduced Class Sizes<\/h2>\n<p>Class sizes have been reduced from our original standard size of 16 people to 10-14 people, depending on room size. Smaller rooms have less people, bigger rooms have more people.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Increased Room Sizes<\/h2>\n<p>We are booking the biggest rooms (60m<span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 UserSelectableText___StyledCssInlineComponent-lsmoq4-0 kghFzc\"><span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 TitleText___StyledCssInlineComponent-sc-1hpb63h-0 jPnwvF\"><span class=\"q-box qu-userSelect--text\">\u00b2<\/span><\/span><\/span> +) we have available and aren&#8217;t booking the smallest rooms (below 50m<span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 UserSelectableText___StyledCssInlineComponent-lsmoq4-0 kghFzc\"><span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 TitleText___StyledCssInlineComponent-sc-1hpb63h-0 jPnwvF\"><span class=\"q-box qu-userSelect--text\">\u00b2<\/span><\/span><\/span>) in our venues. When the biggest rooms aren&#8217;t available and we have to use medium sized rooms (50-60 m<span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 UserSelectableText___StyledCssInlineComponent-lsmoq4-0 kghFzc\"><span class=\"CssComponent__CssInlineComponent-sc-1oskqb9-1 TitleText___StyledCssInlineComponent-sc-1hpb63h-0 jPnwvF\"><span class=\"q-box qu-userSelect--text\">\u00b2<\/span><\/span><\/span>) we are decreasing the number of people in the class to compensate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Staggered Start Times<\/h2>\n<p>We are staggering the start dates and start times of courses in shared venues and streamlining check-in to avoid queues and overcrowding in shared areas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Improved Ventilation<\/h2>\n<p>The windows and doors are open to have fresh air flowing, or if this isn&#8217;t possible there is air conditioning using outside air ventilation and filtration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Regular Cleaning<\/h2>\n<p>All rooms are cleaned before the workshop starts and in-between classes, including all surfaces. We&#8217;ve also de-cluttered all venues to maximise space.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Hand Washing Facilities<\/h2>\n<p>Hand washing facilities are at reception, shared areas, toilet areas and in rehearsal rooms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Track and Trace<\/h2>\n<p>For Hoopla this is already covered by you booking onto the class online, but some of our venues may ask for an additional sign up on arrival for their own Track and Trace records.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Booking Flexibility<\/h2>\n<p>We are giving you full flexibility on all bookings, past, present and future. It&#8217;s OK to move your booking to a later date at no extra cost to you, just email classes@hooplaimpro.com to do this.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Face Coverings<\/h2>\n<p>You don&#8217;t have to wear a face covering during the actual class, as per Department of Digital, Culture, Media &amp; Sport guidelines for the performing arts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Non-Contact Games<\/h2>\n<p>Our games and exercises have been redesigned to be non-contact, but 1m+\/2m social distancing was phased out after July 2021. All of our games and show formats can be adapted to return to 1m+ or 2m social distancing if needed, but we don&#8217;t have any plans to do that at the moment. If we do have to return to 1m+ or 2m social distancing in improv we do have lots of experience of that and it is still really fun, friendly and playful.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Other Notes<\/h2>\n<p>All of our events are too small for the Covid Pass so we will not be using this unless this becomes a legal requirement for venues below 500 people. We will not be asking for vaccine status unless we legally have to, as we feel the testing and other measures above are a better measure of safety in classes.<\/p>\n<p>In the earlier stages of the pandemic we also had temperature checks on the door, social distancing in classes (first 2m then 1m+) and small working groups within class.
