Now performing WEEKENDS on Hoopla's main-stage!<\/h4><\/div>[vc_column_text]Hoopla and the Do The Right Scene team bring you Special Delivery, a monthly night showcasing the best Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic improvisers and comedians in London!<\/p>\n<p>Do The Right Scene are a fast-paced improv group comprised of Black improvisers, sketch performers, stand-ups and character comedians with credits on Radio 4, Comedy Central, BBC 3 and BBC1.<\/p>\n<p>They are joined each month by special guests comprised of London&#8217;s best Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic improvisers and the Crash Landing Improv team made of newcomers from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hooplaimpro.com\/BAME-workshops\">DTRS improv workshop<\/a> that day &#8211; a baptism by fire!<\/p>\n<p>This has been running for almost 5 years and is part of Hoopla and Do The Right Scene&#8217;s ongoing drive to improve the numbers of black, asian and minority ethnic people in improv and comedy.<\/p>\n<p>Regular performers include Monica Gaga (Hoopla&#8217;s main-stage host), Tai Campbell (BBC Comedy Writer&#8217;s Room Winner) and Athena Kugblenu (BBC New Comedy Award Finalist) and students and teachers from across Hoopla&#8217;s courses.<\/p>\n<p>This is more than just a show. The team have built up an entire community of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic improvisers that are now connecting to the wider comedy and TV industry. This includes recent BBC3 sketches written, directed and starring Tai Campbell from the Do The Right Scene and filmed at Hoopla that have received millions of views and fantastic reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the performers at Do The Right Scene and teachers with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hooplaimpro.com\/BAME-workshops\">Crash Landing workshops<\/a> have credits writing and performing on BBC1, BBC3, Radio 4, The Guilty Feminist, TED talks and more.<\/p>\n<p>Hoopla work with the team and community to help cast all of our shows across all of our nights and to recruit teachers to bring greater diversity to the wider improv scene.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;]<div id=\"testimonials-slider\" data-options='{\"animation\": \"slide\", \"controlNav\": true}' class=\"flexslider nav-outside \"><ul class=\"slides\"><li><blockquote><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hooplaimpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Monica-sq.jpg\" alt=\"Monica Gaga\"><p class=\"serif\">I love improv, but it needs shaking up.
