Their work inspired improvisers like John Belushi, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner &amp; Tina Fey and many modern sitcoms are based on Harold structures.<\/p>\n<p>The format involves exploring three different worlds from a fun opening and revisiting those scenes and characters to explore connections, patterns and themes that emerge like magic for the audience.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to help you perform a Harold that is fun and funny while exploring themes, emotions, relationships and deeper theatrical ideas. We will teach a variety of styles and techniques for performing The Harold, giving you the freedom to choose what works for you and what you enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>Most of all we aim to make performing The Harold feel fun, playful and joyous!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Harold from the heart.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Only suitable for people with previous long-form improv experience. This course is not suitable for people new to improv.<\/p><\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"accordion-title\"><h4>Can I do it if I\u2019ve already done some Harolds before?<\/h4><\/div><div class=\"accordion-content\"><p>Yes. This is going to be Hoopla's own unique version of it and there should be some new stuff for you. <\/p><\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"accordion-title\"><h4>What if I can\u2019t make every week?<\/h4><\/div><div class=\"accordion-content\"><p>As we\u2019re forming a team over the course to do performances at the end it\u2019s best not to miss more than one session over the course. If you think you\u2019ll miss more than one sessions over the course please wait until another time to do the course. You won\u2019t be able to do the show if you miss more than two sessions.<\/p><\/div><\/li><li><div class=\"accordion-title\"><h4>What if I\u2019m running late?<\/h4><\/div><div class=\"accordion-content\"><p>We\u2019ll be starting each session at 7pm, and you may not be able to take part in the workshop if you arrive after 7:15pm.
