We aim to provide the best training, resources, shows and community that we can to support all improvisers and audiences.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We aim to provide a environment to people of all ages, genders, ethnic backgrounds, physical abilities, cultural views, sexual orientations, religions and nationalities, and are currently working to encourage greater diversity and accessibility in the improv scene.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">To help this we also ask our students and teachers to follow the guidelines below<\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This helps us to create a spontaneous and supportive environment for improv.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Support each other, on stage and off stage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Work together as a team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Listen to your scene partner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Collaborate with your scene partner, unless it is unsafe or demeaning to do so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Respect physical boundaries and don\u2019t do anything physically dangerous to yourself or your scene partner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Respect sexual boundaries, on and off stage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Improvise from a place of fun, love, kindness and respect for your fellow improvisers and audience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Safety, trust and support is always more important than the temporary existence of an improv scene. So if in doubt, stop the scene, and you won\u2019t be made to feel bad for doing so.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Difficult subject matter in scenes is to be treated with full emotional intelligence, and your teacher is there to help you with this.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Help us to create an environment free from harassment, on and off stage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Please no drug use or excessive drinking before classes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We ask our students, teachers and performers to respect this at all times.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It also helps us to run a fun workshop if you can turn up on time and not use mobile phones in workshops.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">If you are concerned about anything<\/span><\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If you have a concern or complaint, or are worried about the behaviour of a fellow improviser, teacher, director or audience member, please talk to your teacher or contact one of the following support team:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Steve Roe, 020 7459 4395<br \/>\nCompany Director, Hoopla Impro.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Jessie Rutland, <a href=\"mailto:classes@hooplaimpro.com\">classes@hooplaimpro.com<br \/>\n<\/a> Training Manager, Hoopla Impro.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Angela Pollard, <a href=\"mailto:shows@hooplaimpro.com\">shows@hooplaimpro.com<br \/>\n<\/a> Producer, Hoopla Impro.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Your concerns will be listened to and follow up actions agreed and carried out where appropriate.
