Some quick random tips for performing improv<\/h2>\n

I had a great time performing in Story Kitchen’s TheatreSports\u00a0 at our\u00a0Comedy Club<\/a> on Saturday, and the show seemed to go down well with the audience. We’ve been rehearsing lots with Story Kitchen and it all seems to be coming together, so I thought I’d select some random tips that I felt on the night:<\/p>\n

  1. Relax<\/li>\n
  2. Relax<\/li>\n
  3. Relax<\/li>\n
  4. You don’t need much of an idea to get on stage, if any<\/li>\n
  5. You can play with movement, sound and space when you first get on stage without having to know where it’s going<\/li>\n
  6. Relax<\/li>\n
  7. Relax<\/li>\n
  8. Trust your scene buddies and help them to trust you<\/li>\n
  9. Support everything<\/li>\n
  10. Fuck yeah!<\/li>\n
  11. Take risks<\/li>\n
  12. Support the other team<\/li>\n
  13. Laugh and have fun<\/li>\n
  14. Relax<\/li>\n
  15. Relax<\/li>\n
  16. Just listen to the other person and go from there<\/li>\n
  17. You don’t need loads of ideas<\/li>\n
  18. Pay attention to the first line<\/li>\n
  19. Be there<\/li>\n
  20. Relax<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
